With regard to alternatives to QB, sadly, I have not found one. SL would be fun but I am actually quite happy with my Mac as is, and look forward to playing with SL in a month or 2, hopefully. I am plenty frustrated - at Apple and at the developers of my applications, but I am willing to live with that frustration and not jeopardize my ability to earn a living. This software is critical to my business - Snow Leopard is not. No one has given any hard and fast dates for updates.
Canon may not have drivers for my machine until October. I am awaiting SL compatible updates on all of this software before I switch. If I had, not only would I not be able to use QBP 2007 but MacSpeech, Thunderbird, Missing Sync for Blackberry, and my 4 month old Canon laser multifunction.
